I bought a decorative metal "planter" that hangs on the wall, like a half-bucket, I want to repaint it ?
but need to know what type of paint to use. It's already painted beige with red marks but I want to cover that and change the colors completely. Is there a special paint or primer I should use and should I make it waterproof if I want to plant a live plant in it and how to do that?
Your best bet is spray paint, but you have to do it outside (because of fumes) and with a lot of old newspaper underneath (so you don't paint the lawn or concrete).
